The Nature of Things: Animals in Art
This exhibition is an eclectic selection of paintings, ceramics, prints and ephemera from the Museum's permanent collection. Some of the works are representations of working life such as Ina Sheldon William's Oxen Ploughing the Cuckmere, whilst in others animals are used as symbols, as in the Japanese woodblock prints.
