Catalyst is a programme of inspiring arts based professional development days which take place throughout the UK, organised by The Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts. On these days teachers work with professional artists to focus on interactive and innovative teaching ideas designed for KS2 pupils.
the next Catalyst day takes place at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery on 10 March 2010 in the stunning Durbar Hall. During the day teachers will use the history of the Durbar Hall and the Museum's collection as inspiration to create their own stories.
There will be workshops in:
Storytelling - turning you and your pupils into storytellers with Kevin Graal
Music - bringing spaces to life with sound with Rachel Leach.
Drawing - cultures and patterns, design amd motifs
