Form and Tradition - Contemporary Ceramics

02/12/2007

This exhibition brings together the work of four established British Ceramic artists.
The work on display ranges from the surreal functional pots and jars of Carol McNicoll, the 3D abstract collages of Neil Brownsword, the querky sculptural figures by Catie Gough, through to the 2D architectural tile wallpieces of Robert Dawson.
Whilst all of the work is contemporary and experimental, there is a strong resonance with the ceramic traditions and history of an age gone by.
