Volunteering with us is great way to meet like-minded people, develop skills and have fun. Our volunteer projects help support the work that we do. We advertise for volunteers in March and September. We give volunteers a full induction and training.
There are no current opportunities
If you are interested in any volunteering opportunities listed, please download the expression of interest form here and return to firstname.lastname@example.org
We offer work experience twice a year to Year 10 - 12 pupils. Work experience is a great way to develop skills and see what working in a museum is like.
During the week you will work with us to look after the collections and plan exhibitions and events. You will also spend time with the visitor services and learning teams.
2020's work experience placements:
Due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic, we are not advertising any work experience placements until at least April 2021. We typically run two one-week work experience placements per year. Please return to this page for any further updates.
Please download the application form here and return completed to email@example.com
We support student placements from special education centres, colleges and universities. We regularly host students doing projects as part of their courses that complements our work.
If you would like to discuss placements, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
